Arena Swing Gate 4Ft X 12Ft 5-Rail Wood Insert selection guide

How to choose

Who or what has to pass.

Start with the traffic, not the price.

A person leading a horse is a bow gate. A 10 or 12 ft fence span that needs the opening in the middle is a panel combo. A tractor, a truck, or a drag is an arena swing.

That split is the live catalog FAQ. It is the job split. It is not a score.

Bow gate. A bow gate is the small one. It is the 4 ft 6 in walk-through in a round pen or a fence line.

It is the gate inside our 40, 50, and 60 ft kits. If that leaf is damaged, order the bow, not a combo and not an arena swing.

Listed specs on the three bow SKUs also print height 8 ft. Catalog copy talks about the 4 ft 6 in opening. Confirm the 8 ft with the order. We do not invent what it measures.

The open 4-rail and 5-rail slugs include 8-ft-x-4-ft-6-inches. The wood-insert slug does not. Use the listed name.

Panel gate combo. A panel gate combo is a full-length panel with the gate built into it. 10 ft or 12 ft.

Buy it when the opening should land mid-span. Do not buy a bow plus a panel and hope the joint is where you wanted the hole.

Height is not written on these SKUs. We do not write one here.

The two 10 ft open-rail slugs say 8-ft-x-10-ft. Listed length is 10 ft. Use the listed length.

Arena swing. An arena swing is 4 ft tall and 10 or 12 ft wide. That is the machinery gate.

If a machine has to get in, this is the type. If it does not, do not order a 12 ft leaf because it looks like more gate.

The 10 ft open-rail slugs say standard-gate-panel. Listed names are arena swing. Use the listed names.

Wood insert and wire mesh. Wood-insert versions take a timber infill. Shop copy: match a wooden fence, or a visual barrier instead of open rail. Wood is not included. Board size is not written on any gate SKU.

Wire-mesh is one SKU: the 12 ft 4-rail combo. Shop copy: fills the gaps, where a leg through the rails is the problem. Grid size is not written.

Wood-insert is not a fourth type. Mesh is not a fourth type. They are infill on jobs you already named.

Hinges, latch, and sag. Published on the gate pages: greasable weld-on hinges, not bolt-through, so there is no bolt hole to elongate. A two-way latch. A frame heavy enough that it does not sag into the ground. Shop copy: a gate that drags is a gate somebody eventually props open, and a propped gate is how horses get out.

We do not print a sag number. We do not print a hinge pin size.

The latch is on the gate. The hardware aisle sells clamps, posts, and post hinges. It does not sell a two-way cowboy gate latch. Do not wait for that SKU.

Round-pen kits name an EZ-latch on the included 4.5 ft bow. Standalone bow pages say two-way latch. Those are the published words. They are not a spare-part SKU.

Finish and the truck. Finish radios: Bare metal, Dapple grey, Black, Custom color. No finish upcharge is printed.

Estimated delivery is 1-2 weeks. We confirm the shipping method, delivery window, freight charge, and unloading with the order.

Limited lifetime warranty covers manufacturing defects in welds and frame for the original purchaser. Proof of purchase is required. Coating and gate hardware are not covered. That is the published coverage on /warranty.
