Blacktail Corrals ("Blacktail," "we," "us") explains here how we handle personal information when you visit blacktailcorrals.com, contact us, request a quote, submit one of our Facebook or Instagram lead forms, or purchase our products.

Information we collect

• Inquiries and communications. Your name, email address, phone number, location, product interests, project details, and information you choose to include in messages, photos, or support requests. Calls may generate call records, and messages left through our voicemail service are recorded.
• Lead forms. When you submit a Blacktail form on Facebook or Instagram, we receive the contact details and answers you submit, which may include information prefilled by Meta that you choose to provide.
• Orders and delivery. Contact and shipping details, products and quantities, selected options, order history, payment status, and related customer-service information. Stripe processes payment information through its checkout. Our website does not store your full payment-card number or security code.
• Incomplete checkouts. When analytics is allowed and you finish the name, email, and phone fields, we send those details and your cart to PostHog so we can understand and help with your checkout, even if you leave before continuing to payment. We also save your delivery address once its required fields are complete, including any unit or suite you provide. Completing these fields does not place an order or subscribe you to marketing messages.
• Unfinished website forms. When analytics is allowed and you enter a valid email address or phone number in one of our contact or quote forms, we send what you have typed so far to PostHog when you leave a field or the page, so we can follow up if you do not finish. This does not send your request to us or subscribe you to marketing messages.
• Website activity. Hosting and security services may process IP addresses, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps, and error logs. Unless you opt out, Meta also receives information about page views, product views, cart additions, checkout starts, completed purchases, and contact actions.

Our website contact and quote forms, including the mare motel builder, send your details directly to Blacktail by email. Avoid including sensitive information such as payment-card details or government identification in messages.

How we use information

We use information to respond to requests, prepare quotes, discuss your project, process payments and orders, calculate shipping, arrange delivery, handle warranty and support requests, maintain business records, and operate and protect the website. Information submitted through a lead form is used to follow up about the products or services you requested using the contact details you provided. Advertising activity helps us measure and improve our Facebook and Instagram ads and reach interested audiences.

Who receives information

We disclose information as needed for the purposes above to:

• Hosting and infrastructure providers, including Cloudflare, that serve the website, store order records, and support security.
• Stripe and payment services you select to process payments, provide available payment options, and manage payment-related issues.
• Shipping and fulfillment providers that need order and delivery details. Mapping and routing services, including OpenStreetMap-based Nominatim and OSRM services, process delivery-location queries to estimate freight.
• Email and telephone service providers, including Twilio for business call handling and voicemail, and people assisting with customer service and operations.
• Meta for the advertising features described below and when you interact with our Facebook or Instagram forms.
• PostHog for website analytics, including page views, cart activity, checkout steps, shipping results, and payment outcomes. When analytics is allowed, PostHog also receives completed checkout names, email addresses, phone numbers, delivery addresses, and cart details, and the details entered in our contact and quote forms, whether or not you submit them. These details are linked to the browser’s profile and checkout activity. Contact and delivery details for placed orders remain in our order database for fulfillment and support.

Information may also be disclosed where needed to meet legal obligations, address fraud or security incidents, protect legal rights, or as part of a business transfer subject to applicable law. Cookies, browser storage, and advertising

PostHog uses a browser identifier to connect visits and checkout steps. When analytics is allowed, we also remember the first public page we observe you visiting and the website that referred you, when available. We use this information to understand which sources and pages lead to quote requests and purchases. We keep the referring website’s domain, without its page path or query string. This information follows the same opt-out controls below, including Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track. Form inputs are masked in any session recordings; payment-card data and private order pages are excluded.

The site uses cookies and browser storage to remember your cart, checkout details, advertising preference, and verified access to order information. Clearing that storage may reset these features.

The Meta Pixel loads automatically unless you turn off advertising cookies using the controls on this page or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal. Meta may use cookies and similar identifiers to associate website activity with its users, measure ads, and personalize advertising across services. This disclosure of browser identifiers and activity may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising or a “sale” under some privacy laws. The pixel’s explicit event parameters contain product information and purchase totals, not your contact message, payment-card details, or private order links.

For calls to our business number, Twilio supplies call status, duration, and caller ID. We may send Meta a Lead event for an answered call lasting at least 60 seconds, with the call time, duration, and a hashed version of the caller’s phone number for ad measurement and matching. Hashing does not make this information anonymous. We do not send Meta call recordings, voicemail content, or transcripts. Browser cookie choices cannot automatically be connected to an incoming phone call. Contact us to opt out of sharing call information for advertising.

Your privacy choices

You can allow or decline advertising cookies using the controls below. These controls also turn PostHog analytics on or off. To opt out of Meta advertising tracking on this browser now, use the button below. The website also treats Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals as a choice to keep the Meta Pixel off. Browser settings let you block or clear cookies. Choices stored in a browser may need to be repeated on other browsers or devices, or after clearing browser storage.

Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights to access or obtain a copy of personal information, correct it, request deletion, or opt out of its sale, sharing, or use for targeted advertising. Retention depends on the information and its purpose, including responding to inquiries, fulfilling orders, supporting warranties, accounting, resolving disputes, and legal requirements. Contact us to ask about retention or request deletion of your information. We use safeguards such as encrypted website connections and restricted access to order-management tools. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

Children and international visitors

Our products and services are intended for adult customers, not children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can address it. Blacktail operates in the United States, and information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate.
