A 12 ft galvanized Z-purlin with an 8 in profile, in 14-gauge steel. The product is identified for sloped roofs; confirm its profile against the framing design.
Select the 12 ft, 8 in member
The 8 in profile distinguishes this purlin from the separate 12 ft, 6 in product. Keep the profile dimension in the order alongside the length.
Confirm supports, laps and connections for the intended roof. The 12 ft length does not itself establish an allowable clear span.

Shipping cost
Priced at checkout from your delivery address, order weight and quantity. You see the amount before you pay. You can also arrange to pick the order up yourself.
Delivery day
Someone must be on site during the carrier’s delivery window. Leave a firm surface and room for a trailer to turn around. The driver calls ahead when they can; a missed window can mean a redelivery charge.
Unloading
You unload. Have a tractor with forks, a skid steer, or enough people to hand-unload. The driver won’t take material off the trailer unless that was agreed in writing before the truck left.
When it arrives
Steel travels loose on the trailer, so scuffs and strap marks are common. Inspect the load, note any damage on the delivery receipt, photograph it at the truck and contact us the same day.
Warranty
Review the product specifications and contact us to confirm any applicable product or manufacturer warranty before ordering.
Which profile does this 12 ft purlin use?
