Product guide

Why choose this 12 ft 4-rail horse panel?

Use a 12 ft panel when you want to cover longer fence runs with fewer connections. The 5 ft height and welded frame suit pens and custom corrals for settled adult horses.

The four-rail layout has wider openings than a five-rail or wire-mesh panel. Match the rail layout to the animals and the way the enclosure will be used.

Choosing the right rail layout

Rail count changes the size of the openings between rails. Choose the layout that fits the animals using the enclosure now and in the future.

4 rails: Wider openings work well for settled adult horses when the spacing suits the animals and enclosure.

5 rails: Closer spacing can be a better fit for young horses, ponies, minis, and smaller livestock.

Wire mesh: Smaller openings create more separation between the animal and the area outside the fence.

Finishes and connections

Choose a finish for the look and maintenance you want, then confirm the clamps needed for the complete layout.

Bare metal: Uncoated steel develops a natural rust patina as it weathers.

Powder coat: Dapple grey, black, and custom colors use primer beneath a 2.5 mil powder layer.

Panel clamps: Panel clamps are sold separately. Confirm the clamp type and quantity for the complete layout, especially when joining panels from another manufacturer.

Questions about this panel

Four-rail panels work well for settled adult horses when the wider openings suit the animals and enclosure. Compare a five-rail or wire-mesh panel for young horses, ponies, minis, or smaller openings.
