PBR Metal Roof Panels

26-gauge Galvalume PBR panels, 6 to 24 ft, with ridge caps to match. The same sheet we put on our own shelters.

PBR panels are the roof and siding sheet on most steel barns in the country, and these are the same 26-gauge Galvalume sheets we put on our own shelters and mare motels. On this page: PBR panels from 6x3 to 24x3 and 12x40 Galvalume ridge caps, sold by the sheet so a repair does not mean a new building. The Z-purlins that carry them have their own page. The coating warranty is the manufacturer's, not our lifetime weld warranty. Spans stay in the roofing and purlins guide.

Quick answers

Questions about pbr metal roof panels

What is a PBR panel?

PBR stands for purlin bearing rib: an R-panel whose overlapping edge sits flat on the purlin, so the lap screws down tight instead of bridging a gap. It is the standard exposed-fastener sheet for barns, shelters, and shed rows.

What lengths are available?

PBR panels run 6, 8, 10, 12, 13, 20, and 24 ft, each 3 ft wide, in 26-gauge Galvalume. Ridge caps are 12 in x 40 in.

Are these the same panels used on Blacktail shelters?

Yes. If you are extending or repairing a shelter we built, these are the same roof panels and ridge caps used on the original structure.

What warranty applies to roofing materials?

PBR panels, ridge caps, and purlins carry the applicable manufacturer coating warranty. They are not part of Blacktail's lifetime warranty on welded frames and welds.
